Based on this review, the website is partially accessible in accordance with the aforementioned requirements.

Specifically, the following points are not fully compatible with the accessibility regulations applicable to us:

• Barrier: A link refers to a location within the same page, but the corresponding target element is missing.
• Barrier: Some links are empty or contain no text, making their destination or function unrecognizable.
• Barrier: Redundant adjacent links with identical destinations.
• Barrier: An existing form label does not contain any visible or alternative text for description.
• Barrier: Two or more images in the immediate vicinity have the same alternative text.
• Barrier: A link leads to a PDF file (.pdf) without the file type or file size being indicated.

Planned approach to the barriers mentioned

We are currently planning to implement measures to remove these barriers.

Note on PDF files

Some PDF documents provided on the website (e.g., operating instructions, declarations of conformity, energy labels, certificates) are currently not fully accessible.

These files have some structural and technical limitations, including missing heading structures, undefined reading orders, missing alternative text for graphic content, or untagged tables. This means that they can only be used to a limited extent with assistive technologies.

For organizational and economic reasons, we are currently unable to make all existing PDF documents fully accessible. However, we will endeavor to publish new documents in an accessible format in the future, as far as possible.

If you require a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with an individually accessible version, as far as this is possible.

Addendum to the accessibility statement

Our website offers the AccessGO accessibility plugin (www.accessgo.de) from DGfB Deutsche Gesellschaft für Barrierefreiheit mbH.

This allows users to adapt our website to their individual restrictions or preferences.

The settings can be accessed via the AccessGO icon or alternatively via the key combination “ALT + 1”. All functions can also be controlled using the keyboard.

Among other things, this makes it possible to customize the following aspects:

• Font size
• Contrast
• Highlighting of links
• Activating a screen reader
• Use of profiles to activate multiple settings simultaneously.
